Welcome Chamber Owner

Hi. My name is Matt Maginley. As you read this keep this question in mind:  If you could double your Chamber membership this year would that be of interest to you? Before I give you my no risk offer I want to tell you a quick story and share some facts with you.

Talk to any business owner and they’ll all agree that ROI is their number one concern.

In 2011 I spoke to over 200 business owners about joining the HH Chamber of Commerce. The majority of the response was that the Chamber did little to support their business. They said many of the events were great for the community but didn’t add to their bottom-line. And here is the real shame, there isn’t even a mechanism for non-members to voice their needs so the Chamber can address them. This is why my face-to-face meeting with each business owner was so important – there was finally a person from the chamber who could listen to them.

Some business owners said it wasn’t about the money, but it was that the chamber activity didn’t boost their business. For other business owners it was about the money. That’s probably why the current chamber membership is at about 70 members or 8%.  

Because I add real value to business : revenue, increased profits and customers/clients, business owners love my programs and systems. They are excited and interested to learn more about advertising, media and marketing resources. Give them these resources as part of a chamber membership and you will increase membership.

As you are reading this there are about 900 or so business entities in the 07604 and 07075 zip codes. Think of the difference it would make to go from 79 members to 140 or 210 participating members. 

I solve three problems: 1) access to media,marketing and advertising expertise 2) resources that are on demand 3) focus on affordability and ROI. What good are resources that cost too much?

I already know that businesses need to know this information and that they can’t keep up with the pace of change in this area as it is today. And it is only going to move faster.
